On the Move

I've been crawling for a week and a half and momentum is building. Mommy has been chasing me around and saving me (and stuff around the house) from disaster. Mom and Dad have some baby-proofing to do, that's for sure. I like to walk around, too. I go from chair to chair under the table or along the edge of the couch screaming, "Mommy! Mommy!"

Crawling!

I did it! I crawled for the first time ever on Sunday! I feel so liberated! Ella better watch out now, that's for sure!

Though I am now mobile, I have yet to truly embrace my abilities much like young Superman. In time, I will use my crawling to thwart evil and promote justice and love.

I can't wait to show you my skills!

Ah! Ah! Dah! Dah!

I have a few "words" that I need to share with you:

Ah = "I want that" or "I like what I'm seeing"

Dah = "Please come play with me. I am a cute little girl who doesn't like to be left alone unless I am in an environment with lots of action that keep my eyes and mind busy" or "I love you"

Ellllla = Ella

Commonly you will hear me say "Dada" and laugh like a tommy-gun.

Happy Mother's Day Mommy! You are the best mom I could ever have. Thank you for taking care of me and Ella. Thank you for always changing me when I cry and feeding me when my tummy is "empty"!
